"A collage of the things that tie us together.

Memories all flooding through, painful and pleasurable, manifesting in the form of saturated VHS tapes and warped cassette decks.

An out of tune piano playing us through the depth of it all combines with a synthesizer driven through a warm distortion, all indicating a past that was and a future inextricably linked to this past.

A small store named Half-Price Books helped fuel many of the samples in this album, hence the name. The muse who inspired me and exists within this project knows that it couldn't have manifested itself without her. This album is weighted with love."
